previously和previous的几点问题

其实，不管是previous还是previously，正确的都不是直接用的。。。
如果说是previous：
differnent from the previous___ （名词）
比如说，different from the previous exam --》 跟前面的考试不一样。
如果是previously：
different from the previously___（动词）
比如：different from previously stated，____(主语跟主句) --》 跟前面所说的不一样，巴拉巴拉
所以说，这两个的用法取决于他们后面的词，跟differ没关系。
如果硬要说”与前者不同“的话，比较常听到的是different from the previous，但是这里的用法就是后面的名词直接省略了，previous当代名词用。。。
如果要用differs的话。。。。类似it differs from the previous in that...才行，但是意思不大一样，之前different只是说两者有不同，differ。。。in that后面的怎样不同才是重点。如果不加后面的。。。语句就不完整。。。。
其实，你如果是写文章的话，直接用on the other hand之类的是最方便的，不然就直接说different from _____（你那个前者是什么酒填什么），这样也最能避免读者看不懂。
